Make a repair-shop release part of the pickup plan
When a repair estimate leads you to sell a vehicle in Rogers, tell us what the shop has already found and what has been removed. An engine taken apart for diagnosis, wheels stored separately, or parts left in the trunk all affect the description. An existing estimate can help; a new paid inspection is not required for an initial conversation.
Ask the shop who can release the vehicle, where the keys are kept, and when the car will be accessible. Resolve any outstanding repair or storage arrangements with the shop. Accepting a buyer’s offer does not by itself give the driver authority to enter a closed lot or remove a car held by someone else.
Before scheduling, compare the offer after any pickup costs and make sure the agreed vehicle condition still matches. Do not authorize further dismantling or move the vehicle to another shop without telling the buyer. Keep a record of the accepted terms and the contact who will handle release.
