Account for driveway grades and garage access
For a Minnetonka vehicle in a sloping driveway or attached garage, explain the grade and the direction the car faces. Mention a bend, retaining wall, or limited space near the entrance. Do not release a parking brake or push the vehicle down a slope to see whether it rolls. Describe what you already know and let the loading plan be reviewed.
The location of the car matters more than the route you normally drive along I-494 or Highway 7. Provide the exact address and explain which entrance reaches it. If the driveway is shared or a homeowner association controls access, identify the person who can approve the arrangement. Send a photo of an obstruction before anyone commits to a pickup window.
Disclose the condition of a long-stored second car
A vehicle stored for a long period may have flat tires, animal damage, stale fuel, or electrical problems that were never diagnosed. Report only what you know rather than attempting to start an unsafe car. Tell us when it last moved, whether the major components are present, and whether keys and ownership documents are available for the proposed sale.
If you are clearing space before a move, identify that deadline in the first conversation. Review the offer and any pickup costs as one agreement, then confirm who will provide documents and access. Clear personal items from storage compartments and remove obstacles around the car when safe. Leave the vehicle itself in its reviewed location unless another arrangement is confirmed.
