Plan pickup for a car that has been parked for a while
A car that has been sitting may have a dead battery, flat tires, locked brakes, or belongings stored inside. Tell us what you already know. You do not need to spend money making it run just to have the first conversation.
Describe whether the vehicle is on pavement, gravel, grass, or another surface. If it is behind a fence or other vehicles, explain the available approach. Avoid moving it onto soft ground or dismantling it while a pickup is being planned.
Take out your belongings and arrange access to the keys and agreed documents before the confirmed appointment. For a shared lot, check who needs to authorize access and whether the truck has a suitable place to load.
Separate the vehicle from the things stored around it
A car beside a garage or behind a fence may have become a place to keep tools or household items. Explain what needs to be removed and whether belongings outside it block the approach. For a Brooklyn Park location near Highway 252 or Highway 169, identify the actual residential or business entrance. A map pin does not show a locked gate, a narrow side yard, or another car in the way.
Use recent photos rather than pictures from when the vehicle was driven regularly. Tell us if the engine, transmission, battery, or wheels have been removed since then. If someone else is named on the title, explain their involvement before scheduling. We will discuss the vehicle’s accepted condition, payment, paperwork, and any removal charges together; let us know if the car changes after you agree to the offer.
